I’m hoping everyone reading was safe after the heavy storm that passed through last week.

Walking outside after everything subsided I was met with a few uprooted trees and blocked roadways. Nothing a few neighbors & our great first responders couldn’t fix…but boy, what a reminder of what mother nature is capable of.

Keeping fingers crossed that these storms, which seem to be threatening daily at this point, decide to hide away for some of the great events we’ve got going on throughout the week.

I’ll keep mentioning as we’re inundated with this rainy weather to go back to the links provided for each weather-dependent event you may plan on attending as they’re the best way to monitor cancelations/rescheduling.

📍 Experiencing ChesCo - How Do You Do It?

Was having a convo with a friend about my writing the newsletter and they asked if I thought if y’all who read the newsletter actually go to the events, and how far I thought people will go for an event throughout the county.

Complete with that perfect Pittie smile, eyes, and ears, the folks at Angel’s Retreat rescued her from a high-risk shelter. Known amongst the volunteers as being sweet as they come and eager to please, Flo is looking for the forever family that will cherish her. Think it could be you?

This week’s featured event is the Malvern Fire Company Fair!

What: The Malvern Fire Company Fair is back, bringing all the classic fun neighbors look forward to each year. You can expect fire truck rides, plenty of games, and the excitement of rides for all ages. Friday night promises a fantastic fireworks show, always a crowd favorite. The fair is more than just a good time; it’s also the biggest fundraiser for our local fire company, so every ticket helps support the team that keeps us safe. Whether you’re coming for the thrills or just for a night out with friends and family, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
