Good Morning Chester County,

The mornings are starting to feel crisp & cool.

It’s not quite time to break out the flannels and begin sipping on pumpkin spice lattes (even though I know that’s a year-round thing for some of us)…but fall is slowly descending.

Soon enough “Go Birds” will settle back in as the de facto greeting at our weekly Wawa runs, and the kids will be back in school.

Until that time, lets enjoy the rest of this warm weather…soon enough we’ll be praying for it to come back!

⚾️ ChesCo Goes to the Little League World Series

If you don’t follow us on Instagram (you should, click here 😉) or haven’t seen the local news you may have missed that Chester County will be representing the state of Pennsylvania in this year’s Little League World Series!

The Glenmoore Eagle Little League team punched their ticket after beating Maryland last week, 7-1.

They’ll now face South Dakota on August 14th at 7 PM EST on ESPN! Tune in and support the fellas as they make their run to a Little League World Series title!

P.S. - PA is on a tear, as the Johnstown PA West Suburban Softball team just won the Little League Softball World Series over the weekend!

🐶 Meet Babette

This lovely lady first caught my eye on the Phoenix Animal Rescue’s instagram page. With a smile as big and bright as they come, I figured she was always that way. It turns out, Babette first arrived at the shelter fearful and nervous; however, she has blossomed into the biggest love bug! She’s a simple gal looking for a forever family to give her the love she deserves. Could it be you?

🐱 Meet Blockhead

Here’s all you need to know about Blockhead: The staff at BVSPCA struggled to even get photos of him for his adoption page. Why? Because he kept flopping over hoping for more pets. This sweetheart has a past that would make the coldest hearts melt, but he’s happy to forget all about it once you bring him home. Give him a chance.

This week’s featured event is the Craft & Mercantile Night Market 

When: Friday (8/15), 5 - 8:30 PM

Where: Weatherstone Town Center in Chester Springs

What: The good folks at Growing Roots have been putting on these fun night markets for awhile now, and I’ll say…if you went to only one event from this week’s lineup I’d make it this one.

With live music, great local food trucks that will satisfy any craving, different kids activities, and over 30+ local makers - this Friday will remind you why it’s so good to shop local.

As the summer weather is winding down, these night markets are a great way to keep things fun while supporting the local economy.

Trust me, go this weekend, you won’t regret it.
