Good Morning Chester County,

Anyone catch the Clydesdales in Phoenixville last week? If you saw last week’s email you know we had the famous horses in for a parade.

Watching them go by, you’d see kids in awe holding onto their parent’s hands or getting a better vantage point by climbing onto a shoulder.

It got me thinking about Father’s Day this weekend.

Whether you’re spending time with, calling, or honoring the memory of your dad I hope you take the time to think about everything that makes them special.

To all of the dad’s out there - whether you’re celebrating your first or fiftieth Father’s Day, I hope you know you’re loved.

This week’s featured event is the Hops for Homes Beer Festival supporting Habitat for Humanity of Chester County

When: This Saturday, June 14th from 12 - 5 PM

Where: Chester County Art Association located at 100 N Bradford Ave, West Chester, PA 19382.

What: Get ready to sip and support at the 4th Annual Hops for Homes Beer Festival, happening at the Chester County Art Association in West Chester. Hosted by Habitat for Humanity of Chester County, this afternoon of fun(draising) brings together 20+ breweries, cideries, distilleries, and wineries for a day of unlimited tastings, great food, live music, and community connection.

Tickets are $45 and include unlimited beer samples from local favorites. The event also features artisan vendors and food trucks, making it a full day hang. Best of all, every ticket purchased helps build affordable housing right here in Chester County. Last year’s festival raised over $24,000, directly impacting families in need of safe and stable homes.

Grab your friends, enjoy a drink, and raise a toast to a great cause.

Rescued from Mississippi (anyone else still spell it out in their head?) along with her 9 puppies, this sweetheart is the only one yet to have found their forever home. She’s great with commands, walks well on a lead, and is known to get the zoomies. Abby is looking for a cat-free home and a family that will be patient with her as she adjusts to getting all of the love she so deserves.

🐱 Meet Della

This sweet senior is hoping to live out her golden years surrounded by love. She’s likely to be by your side offering gentle purrs, but has no issue being independent - curled up soaking in some sun in the afternoon. Della is looking for nothing more but some dependable love.
