This is the brief time of year where no matter how you dress for the day, at some point you’ll be either too hot or too cold.

Frankly, I love it. Catch me walking the dog in the morning in shorts and a hoodie then by the afternoon I’m overheating mowing the lawn in a T-shirt.

If those champagne problems are the toughest thing I deal with in the day, then I’m a happy camper.

🍁 Figuring Out Fall

One of the BEST things about our area, with so many farms and open spaces, is that when fall time comes around there’s no shortage of things to do to celebrate the change of the season.

BUT, we’re creatures of habit, so we will often fall (heh, see what I did there?) into our normal routine.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that; however, we’re thinking up a guide of the best fall activities across the county that we can share with you to give you some new ideas of things to do this year.

I’ve got a couple dozen already jotted down…but I’m sure I’m still missing some.

SO…I want to hear from YOU.

🐶 Meet Chip

Spunky, vocal, loving - a few of the words that the volunteers at TLC Rescue have used to describe this scruffy fella. Despite his small stature, Chip walks into the spot like he owns it (in a cute way). A great leash walker and snugglebug, he is ready to meet his forever family. He knows he’s worth it 💁‍♂️, he’s just been waiting for you to find out.

🐱 Meet Alleyway Boy

Venture a guess to how this friendly feline got his name? Despite his clearly difficult past, AB (as the volunteers at BVSPCA have called him), has not let it affect his docile and loving nature. He adores being held and pet - and thinks you’ll love petting and holding him too. Bonus points because he looks dapper in a bow tie (check the photo).
