Well, I asked for less rain and we’re getting a heat wave.

If I knew I had this sort of power I’d be playing the lottery more often.

With “feels like” temps reaching as high as 105*+, it’s going to get HOT out there. If you know anyone who doesn’t have AC, especially if they’re elderly…do me a favor and check in on them this week to make sure they’re staying cool.

Adopted as kittens, Gwen & Tormund found themselves back in a shelter after being surrendered by their previous owner. Both have distinct personalities and have so much love to give. You’ll get your quintessential softie in Gwen known to tilt her head back and lay down for belly rubs. In Tormund you’ll get a social, playful and affectionate gentleman. This week’s featured event is the 76th Annual Goshen Country Fair

When: 7/28 - 8/2, Grounds open at 6PM M-F and 5 PM on Saturday

Where:

What: The Goshen Country fair is classic summertime Americana. Games, rides, live music, and amazing exhibitions. Here’s just some of what you can expect to find there this week:

• Live music performances (Cherry Crush Duo, Johnny “Cash” Barnett, West Chester Swing Kings Band, Northern Rednecks, Chester County Lawmen Band, Southern Edge Band)

• Chris Fabiano, Magician and Mystery Performer

• Annual Dog Show, Dairy Cattle Show, ADGA Goat Show, & Sheep Show

• Cow Pie Bingo, BBQ Chicken Dinner

• Candy Scramble for Kids
