Spooky Season is here and with that come all the corn mazes and haunted hayrides you can handle.

As the county holds on to the last handful of weekends of warm(ish) weather we’ll have a ton of great events to take part in throughout the fall.

No matter what vibe you’re looking for this week, there’s something to do throughout the county!

🌟 Chester County Gems: Who’s Next?

Thanks to all of the kind words about last week’s feature on Northbrook Marketplace.

Hopefully I’ve persuaded a few of you to go and get some of their apple cider donuts 😁

One thing we want to continue to do more of is tell the stories of the people and places in ChesCo that make it a great place to live.

So I’m curious:

What are your favorite Chester County Gems? Places you feel may not get the shine they should or somewhere you want others to know about.

🐶 Meet Bingo

This four year old fella’s story is a tough one to write up. Found as a stray with a gunshot wound to his head, Bingo’s life has not had the luck his name would suggest. After receiving life-saving care he spent time recovering but is ready to find his forever family. Despite the cruelty people have shown him, Bingo is still the biggest love bug, because he knows you’re out there waiting to find him. He’s got great manners and is a quick learner. It’s time you give him the home he deserves and has been waiting for.

🐱 Meet Mila

At 15 years old, you’d think Mila wasn’t a day over five given her energy. Despite her age this golden girl is ready to give you all of the love you can handle. No senior pet should spend their last days in a home, so consider giving this sweet heart a soft landing for the time she has left.

This week’s featured event is Autumn Under The Glass by Camphill Soltane

When: Friday, 10/10/2025, 5 PM

Where: Glenmoore, PA

What to expect: Looking for a relaxed fall night with real impact? Join Camphill Soltane for their 2025 Fall Fundraiser in their Glenmoore greenhouse.

Sip local beer or coffee, graze the tasting table, and unwind by the fire pit while live music sets the tone under a cool autumn night.

Challenge friends to yard games, then browse the Pop-Up Artisan Market that’s full of beautiful pottery, beeswax candles, woven goods, home wares, and colorful jewelry handcrafted by artists with intellectual differences.

Every ticket and raffle entry supports Soltane’s mission to create purpose, belonging, and joy for adults after high school.

It’s the kind of evening that leaves you feeling on cloud nine, with neighbors from all throughout ChesCo coming together for a cause that truly does good for those in our community.
