Parades, Beer Gardens, Hikes, & The Future of the Buzz
Good Morning Chester County,
We hope everyone who was affected by the heavy rains/flooding this weekend is OK, and a big thank you goes out to all of the first responders who risk their own safety to ensure our own.
With a long Memorial Day weekend on the horizon, I’m sure many of you are heading down to the shore for a relaxing weekend amongst the seagulls waves. For those who are staying local, we’ve got plenty going on!
On the topic, we find it important to give a reminder that we are enjoying a long weekend due to the brave men & women who have served our country, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service. Thank you.
This is what we’ve got on tap:
Need feedback on the future of the Buzz (you decide)
ChesCo Coffee Club shirts available for 2 more weeks
Support ChesCo Hospital & get free drinks (ends soon!)
+ Memorial Day parades & 20+ events to keep you busy this week

The Blend
A curated mix of local stories, updates, and announcements from our team.
‼️ Your Feedback on the Future of the Buzz
It’s been just over 7 months that we’ve been writing ChesCo Buzz, and from our first issue to now a LOT has changed!
If you’ve been reading for some time, you’ll notice that the emails have got longer and longer.
Sections like the Local Business Bulletin, Coming up on Tap, etc. are all meant to help connect our community and we want them to continue, all while making sure you get the best events and things to do throughout the county every week.
But we don’t want the Buzz to turn into an 8-minute read 😅. Just the best info meant to connect our community.
With that in mind, we’ve been thinking about turning the Buzz into a 2x/week email sent every Tuesday & Thursday.
Tuesdays would be more community focused with things like local restaurant & business deep dives, local adoptable pets, ChesCo trivia, and events happening from Tuesday-Thursday.
Thursdays would be primarily focused on the events occurring over the weekend, allowing us to provide more events without the risk of our emails winding up in your spam folders.
That being said, our community will decide, so what do you think?
You Decide - # Emails each weekShould we move to 2x/week emails OR stick to 1x/week? |
P.S. - If you have any thoughts on how we could format the email, reply to this and let us know!
☕️ ChesCo Coffee Club Shirts On Sale (LIMITED TIME)
Big thank you to the 50+ folks who purchased shirts last week!

🤔 Did you know…
The origins of Memorial Day come from the aftermath of the Civil War, where on what was known as “Decoration Day,” people would decorate the graves of fallen soldiers.
As time went on, the holiday expanded to honor service members from all U.S. wars.
